Profile

Research interests

Primarily, I am concentrating on the biodiversity and biogeography of granivorous passerines, especially estrildid finches (Estrildidae).

I am mainly interested in the spatial and temporal stability of distribution patterns as well as in the effects of climate change on biodiversity. Further focuses of interest are faunistics, ecology and species conservation.
