Field of work
I am since 2018 the head of the morphology lab at ZFMK. My tasks include the coordination of the morphological research at ZFMK and the supervision of the associated infrastructure.
My general research interest are the evolution, morphology and phylogeny of the polyneopteran insects. This group includes 11 trafitional orders such as grasshoppers and crickets (Orthoptera), roaches and termites (Blattodea), stoneflies (Plecoptera) or earwigs (Dermaptera).
