Project title:
SPRINT - Seed Predation and diversity of arthropod communities in Response to land-use INTensity
ZFMK Project lead:

Description

The biodiversity loss in terrestrial ecosystems is strongly associated with land-use intensification. The aim of the SPRINT-project (2020-2023) is to investigate consequences of land-use intensity and components of land-use on the diversity and functionality of arthropod communities in grasslands. The SPRINT-project is part of the Biodiversity Exploratories which are a research project funded by the German Science Foundation (DFG). Three large-scale and long-term research sites (exploratories) serve as an open research platform for biodiversity and ecosystem research.
