An exhibition with and about living spiders and scorpions from all over the world!

The special exhibition shows with live animals the success story of the evolution of poisonous and harmless arachnids. On 300 square meters, the world of arachnids is explained in 80 terrariums, accompanied by boards, video sequences and models.

The exhibition is not only intended to give the interested nature lover an insight into the diversity of the appearance of arachnids, but also to enable the visitors, who approach scorpions and especially spiders with disgust, an immediate yet safe experience of the impressive exoticism of these special animals.

The exhibition is curated by Dieter Scholz and Peter Klaas, both committed members of the Alexander Koenig Society and hobby archeologists. The arachnids originate for the most part from the private collection of Peter Klaas, as well as the majority of terrariums.
