Info
Duration:
28.09.2019 to 16.05.2021
Location:
2nd floor
Type of exhibition:
Special exhibition

How did the evolution of gigantism in the dinosaurs come about?
What were the conditions for the extreme increase in size and how did the organism of the largest land animals that ever lived on Earth function?

The exhibition presents the current state of research on these questions and at the same time explains the almost detective methods with which scientists answer questions from a long time ago.

At 27 meters, the skeleton of the Apatosaurus ARAPAHOE, the largest original skeleton in Europe, is the longest highlight of the exhibition.
