Newly described Monitor Lizards
During research projects about systematics, diversity and endemism of Indo-Australian varanids, several yet unknown monitor lizards were discovered and scientifically described in recent years. These spectacular discoveries demonstrate, that the diversity of these charismatic giant lizards is not yet completely documented. Further new monitor lizards are to be expected in the future ...
