The Zoological Research Museum Alexander Koenig has an association of friends or supporters named Alexander Koenig Gesellschaft e.V. (AKG). The aim of the AKG's activities is the lasting support of the museum. Among these activities are the support of exhibition projects and the backing up of academic work.
